Interactive fieldwork database launches
Interactive fieldwork database launches
We are thrilled to announce the launch of an interactive fieldwork database on our Digital Collections platform.
DC Fieldwork documents excavation, survey, and study tour activity undertaken by the British School at Athens right from the end of the nineteenth century through to the present day. The interactive platform gives users information on:
- the location of fieldwork undertaken,
- the years in which project activity was completed,
- the names of the project directors,
- a brief précis of work completed year-by-year,
- bibliographic reference.
In due course, the dataset will be mirrored to the Ariadne+ portal.
We would like to thank most sincerely all staff, researchers and volunteers who have contributed to creating this fantastic resource. Please click here to visit the Fieldwork database on BSA Digital Collections.
