University of Athens, Hellenic Parliament & BSA Conference: Το 1821 στην Πρώτη Σελίδα: Η Ελληνική Επανάσταση στον Διεθνή και Εγχώριο Τύπο
The Philhellenism project goes to Parliament!!
Rebecca Sweetman (BSA Director), Roderick Beaton (BSA Chair), and Michalis Sotiropoulos (1821 Fellow in Modern Greek Studies) will be speaking in the conference Το 1821 στην Πρώτη Σελίδα: Η Ελληνική Επανάσταση στον Διεθνή και Εγχώριο Τύπο [1821 on the First Page: The Greek Revolution in the foreign and domestic Press], co-organised by the Hellenic Parliament, the ‘Laboratory for Political and Institutional Theory and the History of Ideas’ of the University of Athens, and the BSA. The conference will take place in the Senate Hall of the Hellenic Parliament on the 29-30th January 2024. Due to limited capacity, the conference is by invitation only. For the BSA, the conference is organised in the framework of its project ‘Unpublished Archives of British Philhellenism’ supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
