Our new Vice-Presidents: Natalie Haynes and Victoria Hislop
We are delighted to announce that two stalwart and enthusiastic supporters of the BSA have been elected for the role of Vice-President of the British School at Athens – Natalie Haynes and Victoria Hislop. Our Vice-Presidents serve in an honorary role as part of the BSA’s governance structure and are people with a strong association with the School.
Writer and broadcaster Natalie Haynes is a vocal advocate of the BSA and is a regular presenter at events. Most recently she contributed to the Communicating Archaeology course with a keynote lecture.
Novelist Victoria Hislop was the Patron of the successful Knossos 2025 campaign to renew the Knossos Research Centre and Stratigraphical museum in Crete. She is a regular visitor to the BSA and recently presented Greece: Finding Hidden Stories as an exclusive event for BSA Supporters in London in June 2024.
It is an honour to welcome these extraordinary women to their BSA Vice-Presidencies and we look forward to exciting things to come in advocating for the work of the BSA.
