Laboratory Technician
As the Fitch Laboratory technician, I am responsible for the production of thin-sections of ceramics and geological material. I have worked at the lab for over 38 years and have therefore developed significant experience in the production of these scientific specimens. From time to time, I also prepare polished thin sections and resin mounted samples for SEM analysis for researchers at the laboratory. My training is as a Mechanical Engineer and I also currently work as an SEM Technician at I.G.M.E.
