As the Head of Development, I work with colleagues and supporters to help ensure we have sufficient funding for the current varied and important work of the British School at Athens, as well helping to deliver our exciting vision for future development.
Following an MA (Hons) in Scottish Historical Studies at the University of Edinburgh and a postgraduate Masters in Archives and Records Management at the University of Liverpool, I worked at the National Library of Scotland in Edinburgh, including for a decade as the inaugural Senior Curator of the John Murray (publishing) Archives. Before joining the BSA I was Philanthropy Manager for Heritage Collections at the University of Edinburgh.
Working for the BSA means working with passionate professionals, generous supporters and friends to achieve some remarkable things. Whilst being based primarily in Edinburgh I work closely with colleagues and donors in London, Athens and Knossos, as well as across the UK, Greece and the world.
