As a Lab Assistant, I am supporting ongoing research and I carry out a variety of practical tasks in the laboratory. For the latter, my responsibilities include the preparation of ceramic and geological samples for WD-XRF analysis, as well as clay sediment processing and analysis. I am also involved in the updating and monitoring of health and safety protocols, in collaboration with the Scientific Research Officer.
I am interested in Egyptian and Minoan archaeology, and the use of chemical analyses and experimental techniques in archaeology.
I received my BSc in Chemistry from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and my MPhil in Archaeological Science from the University of Cambridge.
