The Marc and Ismene Fitch Laboratory for archaeological sciences was established in 1974. Its history however, reaches further back with the seeds of its creation sown in Oxford in the early 1960s, find out more in this blog post!
The Marc and Ismene Fitch Laboratory for Archaeological Sciences will mark its 50th anniversary on November 29th, 2024.
Nominations are invited for one elected vacancy on the BSA’s Council, to serve for four years from 1 April 2024.
Only Supporters of the BSA (all tiers) whose payments are up to date are eligible to propose a candidate. The successful candidate, if not already a Supporter, will be expected to become one.
