Are you an alum of the British School at Athens Undergraduate Course?
This year the British School at Athens is celebrating 50 years of its Undergraduate Course ‘The Archaeology and Topography of Greece’, having brought over a thousand students to Greece to explore the breadth of the history and cultures of Hellenic lands.
You are warmly invited to attend a special reunion event for all past participants, students, course tutors, and all those with a fondness for the work of the BSA, to be held at the Institute of Classical Studies (London) on Friday 11 February at 5pm. Admission will be free, but guests will be asked to RSVP in due course.
We are thrilled to also be marking this important milestone in the BSA’s history with a specially commissioned coffee-table book of memories and photographs from those who have led and attended the course over the past half-century. The collection is intended to celebrate the often formative and unforgettable stories of the courses. Copies of the book will be available at the event for a suggested donation of £20 to help ensure the future of the BSA’s courses and to enable many more students to benefit from them.
Spread the word! Please help us to circulate this invitation to past course mates who might not currently be on the BSA distribution lists. Please also invite them to sign up to our mailing list so that they can stay in touch for news of more events like this in the future: Join the BSA Mailing List – British School at Athens
