Each year the BSA publishes a major research journal – the Annual of the British School at Athens – along with Archaeological Reports (a collection of synthetic overviews of recent developments in the archaeology of the Hellenic world produced jointly with the Hellenic Society), Archaeology in Greece Online, and an Annual Report .
The BSA recently revised its publication arrangements for its monograph series (information on submissions available here). It continues to produce and publish Supplementary Volumes at regular intervals (detailed Guidelines for Authors available here). These present detailed studies of important School excavations and related topics. The in-house series of BSA Studies has been discontinued, although several volumes are still available for purchase. Replacing this series are two series: BSA Studies in Greek Antiquity (published by CUP) builds on the BSA’s long-standing engagement with the study of ancient Greece from prehistory to Late Antiquity, while BSA Modern Greek and Byzantine Studies (published by Routledge) continues the BSA’s pioneering tradition in the study of modern Greek and Byzantine history, language and culture.
